Bio

It all began when a drummer and metal fanatic named Mike Strubbe teamed up with Sam Ainami, a bass player at that time.

They both wanted a new metal project that had to be audacious, new and dramatic. They were influenced by black, death and industrial bands.

Together they took the first steps to create classic black and death songs with a high amount of classical orchestral ingredients.

The sound reached a whole new level with the arrival of pianist Guy 1.0 Delanoye, and a new bass player Kevin Pottier.

Things changed quickly, Sam took on the guitar parts and vocal section and dropped the bass in favour of Kevin. The band quickly decided that the black and death genre wasn’t the stellar road to follow in their musical expressions. They knew there were more interesting paths.

The bands individual members had different backgrounds as musicians. Mike had Chalice, a death band, Sam had KALI a shock rock band and Guy was the frontman for Ostend Powers, a new metal band. They could use this to their advantage. It wasn’t refreshing enough. They concluded that no borders should be respected. No more labels.!! Like an outer space crew looking for the new frontier. By that time, Kevin Pottier and the rest of the band parted ways and Guy traded his keyboards for a bass. Guy 2.0 was born.

With a new objective in mind, the band was determined to go where no band has gone before. No more boundaries!

This time the influences were space opera’s, SF movies, Warhammer 40000, video games like Mass Effect, Gothic Novels and psychedelic music mixed with rock and metal.

Visual effects is something the band is keen to use to enforce that fantasy driven world. The goal is to get to a total emersion in a world witnessed by none before.
