Overran is a progressive hard rock band based in Duffel, Belgium. "Overran" is an anagram of the French expression "on verra". We'll see. You'll see as well.

Overran was formed in 2017 by Toon & Pieter-Jan who wanted to form a band in the more heavy branch of music. They had been playing in a cover band for quite some years already together. Toon knew a friend from university who was eager to join such a band. That's where Bram came in, who already had some riffs to start off with. The same goes with Nathan, who is an old highschool friend of Pieter-Jan. Nathan was actually a schooled jazz-drummer, but was keen to see how it would turn out playing heavy rock drums. In no time a dedicated friendship was born between all four of us and we started writing songs right away.

We were brainstorming for a band name back in the summer of 2017, when we suddenly got tired of it and said: "Goh, we zien wel." A creative mind juice brew up, and we started playing around with that. And ever since, Overran was born.
