Noband came to life as a response to a Youtube contest in 2017, announced by the fantastic guitar player Pete Cottrell. Maarten and Diederik turned the guitar track “Dominion” into a full song and videoclip. As Cottrell commented: ”You guys made a full band cover of my song and a music video, it has vocals, a guitar solo… everything. And it’s awesome. It sounds so much better than my work!”.

The joy of making this clip and the quality of the result were prompting to continue with this Youtube project. Noband will continue making songs and videoclips inspired by other musicians, as well as doing their own stuff. The music videos will show a collaboration with different artists, which guarantees an inspiring and uplifting journey. Doing so, it is not impossible that Noband turns into Aband, ready to play this music live on stage.
