Born in 1972 and bought his first turntables on the age of 15 playing some metal and popmusic. At the age of 16 Ray Cosmo joined the Belgium clubscene every sunday and monday in Bocaccio, Balmoral, Extreme and Carat, a whole new world opened for him inspired by dj’s such as the legendary resident from Extreme dj Phi Phi from France (still his favorit national dj), John Digweed, Sasha, Danny Howells, Nick Warren (international favorite dj’s) and etc... In the year of 1998 Cosmo was the winner of the dj-contest in afterclub Carat when he became a resident dj in that club, later on he became resident dj in club’s such as Extreme "on monday’s", The Groove, Eclips, Montini (Crazy Zunday’s), Catacombes (Diskotek). In the past year’s Cosmo was asked for deejaying in Spain, Ibiza (Destino Pacha), France, The Netherlands and in every famous clubs and festivals in Belgium such as Tomorrowland, House Torhout with deejay’s Jim Rivers, Paul Ritch, Alan Fitzpatrick, Sister Bliss, Danny Howells, Pole Folder & CP, Guy J., Kevin Saunderson, Derrick May, Kenny Larkin, Jimmy Van M, Sasha, etc... The style of Cosmo’s music is a mix of Progressive, Tech House, Techno, Deep House and Downtempo. Ray Cosmo is also involved in an other project called NICE THERAPY (alias for his productions) with releases and remixes on Punk ID Records, N.E.W.S., Bonzai Basiks, Sound Monkey Records, Nightfall Recordings and forthcoming releases on other great labels.
