Nasty Panda stands for the sole pleasure of sharing music with the world. Four friends decided, sometime in 2011, that spending time every week playing music together would bring joy and peace to the world. Eventually. Or not.

While composing, Mic Palmeri thought about an ancient time, when Jon Dehas played the keyboards to Mic's gipsy spanish guitar tunes in Tom Halter's basement. In order to have access to that very basement, Tom was allowed to air-guitar bass lines while everyone pretended he actually was playing along.

Mic thus decided to meet with Jon and Tom, as he needed musicians and lyrics to make something real out of his music.

He didn't have to search for a drummer, as study friend Naïm was the obvious choice.

And so began the story of Nasty Panda...
