Concerning music my parents dreamt of pushing me in a classical direction at a young age. I had to take blockflute(=recorder) classes at school. They also bought me a flamenco guitar I could only touch after three years of music theory classes. Despite their efforts I was becoming an adept of the revolution in the electronic music scene. But still I had to wait until the summer of ’94 to find out what I really liked. I noticed I was getting fed up of the superficial dance tracks. That year my parents send me to summer camp in Austria. I was put in a room with 2 skater punks who had brought a boom blaster and 1 music album. The music album was called ‘Music for the jilted generation’ by the Prodigy. That album gave me and so many others a first glimpse of the possibilities of electronic music and therefore I still regard it as one of the best ever made. A couple of years later I went to my first drum ’n bass rave. The atmosphere, deep bass, … . Everything fell in its place and I realized I wanted to become a drum ’n bass dj. Since that moment I played at venues like Petrol, Kaaiman, Vooruit, Kavka, Decadance … . But last years I had to stop spinning because of my daily job. Nonetheless the DnB virus won that battle and I 'm really eager to spread it again. I ‘m known for not taking into consideration the various sub genres. Liquid, Neurofunk, Jungle, … as long it has a certain vibe to it, I ‘ll play it. The best description I ever heard regarding my style was: ‘If you had played on the Titanic it would have sunk on the first night’.
