Bio

I am a Kenyan born singer/songwriter currently based in Antwerp, Belgium. As far as I can remember I have always been drawn to music and dance. I had several opportunities to learn from many African music teachers while back in Kenya. Later in my university years I made it a mission to research and learn the different musical styles during the "Flower Power" movement. I particularly loved the history and music of Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Nina Simone, Etta James, Jim Morrison, and of course the legendary Bob Marley. In 2010 I came to settle together with my family in Belgium. In 2012 I had my first studio recording session with Wayne smith Studios in Germany. I worked on 3 Singles namely: Red Umbrella feat. Carlprit, Mama Africa Feat. Baidou and Let it Shine all released during the summer of 2013.

Currently working on a new EP album Titled Home Age. The release dates is this year September 2014.

My music is my perception on my personal take on life. My philosophies are a fusion of world theologies and my African myths and ideologies. My musical style is a prime illustration of Neo soul influenced by the contemporary musical styles: Reggae, Soul, Jazz, and Hip Hop.
