MoÏst was born in Antwerp, Belgium. In the early days it was a band consisting of two bass players (Marc & Dimi) and a drummer (Mathias). They had been rehearsing for some years on some (really cool) instrumental music, mostly just for fun. One day they asked Carry if she would come and sing with their band and she agreed on one condition: Michael would be the guitar player. They started writing songs and decided to record their first album.
