Founded in 2008, prog metalband Mordacity has been haunting rehearsal rooms. In 2012 they put out a selfmade demo and made their first public appearance in 2013

Founded in 2008, Mordacity has been haunting rehearsal rooms.

The band consists of a completely new line-up except for Wim Rotthier (keys), who is the only remaining member of the old line-up.

In 2012, Mordacity records a homemade-demo with three songs.

July 2013, Mordacity makes their first public appearance with new vocalist as opening act on Coq Rock festival 2013. October 2013, Mordacity played on the benefit event '24h of Oudenaarde'. On the 10th of November Mordacity is support act at the Frontline (Gent) for the japanese metalband LOKA.

2014, starts with new demo-recordings which will replace the old ones, starts with shootingdays for videoclip Hollowed Skin with Visual Okapi. Mordacity is selected to play Metal Batlle Alliance 2014 final on 5th of april 2014 in Maasmechelen.
