momoyo is de Gentse band rond Jonas Bruyneel (Philemon, Vincent Coomans), Esther Coorevits (Jan Verstraeten, Tourist LeMC), Frie Mechele, Renaud Debruyne (Mirek Coutigny, Mergel) en Sven Sabbe (Galine). Het vijftal verraste in 2020 met een debuut-ep die airplay kreeg op Radio 1 en Studio Brussel. In 2022 volgde het debuutalbum Gaps in time bij Starman Records en toerde momoyo door België, Nederland en het Verenigd Koninkrijk. Begin 2025 herwerkte momoyo enkele nummers in de intieme EP Mirror Session (Wellington Records). momoyo ontving lovende pers in binnen- en buitenland en werd bijna anderhalf miljoen keer gestreamd.
