Miss O

Miss O takes you to a parallel universe: a world of deep emotions, warm tones and delicate sounds.

The core of Miss O consists of duo Odette Di Maio, an Italian singer and songwriter with a broad international experience, and Jan De Block, acomposer/sounddesigner from Belgium.

Miss O is the sweet, fragile and warm voice of Odette, and the subtle, intimate music of Jan.

Despite the physical distance between Italy and Belgium, Odette and Jan are working together for many years. They are currently working on a new album.

In the fall of 2012, Miss O’s new soundtrack for the original ‘Alice In Wonderland’ movie was selected for the finale at the OZU filmfestival (Castellarano, IT) contest. Since then, Miss O is performing live in Belgium and Italy.

Miss O’s debut album, “Infection” is about the pursuit of the right balance of emotions: it may let you fall into the black holes of the strongest plutonian energies as well as up into celestial heights and divine depths. Magical and pure sentimental elements blend together in a unique sound and style. Every song gets its inspiration from a specific astrological constellation, and has been mixed on specific days, calculated by Odette. "Infection" is released by Addictive Noise Records as a CD, digital worldwide distribution by Total Wipes Music Group.
