Minor Sore is a folk- and rock-inspired two-piece from Leuven. The band formed in 2011 when Michiel van Oudheusden urged his girlfriend Elisa Vanderveken to stop wasting her voice on endlessly rehearsing existing medleys in the shower and instead sing several songs he had been working on since his teen years. With Minor Sore, vocal melodies build on bare and basic guitar chords, although a third musician (Philip D) often provides additional instrumentation, such as electric and slide guitar, which give the music a country-esque touch.
