Since 2002, drummer, producer and performing artist Steven Ribus has been active as a solo artist in various genres. Gradually each project acquired its own identity and from this arose the techno music and minimal art project 'Minimal Steve', in which he exposes his love for repetitiveness and minimalism.

|/\ MODULAR /\| [2023]

Minimal Steve proudly presents '|/\ MODULAR /\|', an audiovisual live performance combining (modular) techno music and minimal art.

For each 'track' performed live, a minimum of 4 techno/electronic releases are deconstructed into loopable parts and played simultaneously in such a way that they match together. Topped with his own twist, completely new grooves and structures are created. The setlist contains tracks by S.Sic, Green Velvet, Charlotte De Witte, UMEK, Plastikman, Dubfire, Spencer Brown, FJAAK, Bryan Kessler and more.

All this is complemented by visuals based on his own minimal art creations, performed using Ableton Live, Resolume software and Akai APC40 MKII controllers.

|/\ MODULAR /\| is a unique live performance, taking DJ'ing to the next level.
