Metropolitan Gallery
Low frequencies synths, bright broken vocals and real instruments textures are our signature.
Bio
Metropolitan Gallery is a meeting between electro-pop compositions (By Esteban Raisiere) and varied other genres such as Rock, Funk, New Wave (Drums by Loïc Castel, Bass by Jérôme Segers, Guitar by Pierre Delfosse). The instrumental part is contrasting with the bright, typical and broken voice of Caroline Bloukiaux (Semi-finalist at The voice).
The themes of the songs are going through many topics such as lightness, hope, fights and bad issues concerning our world.
This mix between all the members and all those influences is a really strong asset. It offers a rich particular universe of sonorities.
From 2015 (band creation year) to now, they have been performing on a few stages. For example : Les Fe?tes de Wallonie 2016 of Namur (Place d’Armes), Le Tremplin Verdur Rock 2016, Les Rochefort Sérénades, L'OpenStream Festival 2016, Les 24h Ve?lo de Louvain-la-Neuve (Grand Place)...
They recorded, mixed and released two singles since November 2015 - "Ways of Sand" and "Dear Child". They also produced a video clip available online. For now, they are currently working on a five-track-EP. They have planned to release it at the beginning of 2017. So stay tuned!
