Antwerp-born DJ, producer and singer Metrobox likes it deep, raw, analogue and doesn’t like music business bull shit. Blessed with a voice that is perfect for intimate house grooves and with a handful of synthesizers, drum computers and instruments at his hands, he takes time to put soul in his music and create a genuine vibe.

After a couple of years in Berlin he is currently residing in Deinze, the unofficial House capital of Belgium and the hometown of We Play House recordings. He plays across the country and abroad on a regular basis. Apart from recent work on WPH, he runs the project label Fellowship Of The Funk together with Marcus Vector. The duo releases pure and unique sounding 12 inches when they feel like it and hit the road together on good occasions with their 100% analog live set. Last but not least, he is part of the Rundfunk collective: a unique live jam brotherhood of five with Locked Groove, Raw Cuts/Eklektiker, Talbot Wood/Gaust and Marcus Vector. Together with Preachermann, Bjeor and Triad, Metrobox is also hosting regular nights in Leuven and Gent, called Home. These nights have gotten nation wide enthusiasm thanks to their democratic, warm setting and outstanding line ups, featuring artists such as Jacob Korn, Kevin Reynolds, Tama Sumo, Steve Summers, Steven Tang, Patrice Scott, Sven Weisemann, Tevo Howard, Basic Soul Unit, Kowton, FCL, Locked Groove, Kong & Gratts and many more.
