Meniac big love for and dedication to music started already on a very early age and he was always fascinated by the concept of rhythm so as first act he started to play the drums. His father had an excessive collection of vinyls and Meniac loved to put those on the family turntable to dream away by the music they produced.

As an adolescent he started to buy his own vinyls and finally in 1993 he started to mix his prescious records.

Meniac became in the 90’s one of the leading techno dj’s in the underground scene because of his excellent often Detroit flavored taste and extra ordinary mixing skills. He took the mixing style known as “the djack school” to the next prefect level. He was a regular guest on underground concepts as Strictly Underground, D-Jacking Zone, Funky Green Aliens, Technoir, Underground Adventures (NEMO) and many others. For Technoir & Underground Adventures he became the resident dj. Besides he has put also fire on the floors of higher profile events and clubs as FUSE, Kozzmozz, Silo, Petrol, …. He shared the decks with names no less than Random XS, Umek, Cristian Vogel, Vice, D-Knox, The Hacker, Mike Dred, Acid Junkies, Scan 7, …

In between his busy schedule as a techno dj he worked two days a week in a recordshop for electronic music Urban Grooves in Brussels.

As a dj he focusses his style mainly on techno and it’s subcategories. Meniac doesn’t like to think in purist forms and in his sets you are always in for a surprise voyage from house to techno, electro to wave spiced by a classic bomb here and there.

Meniac stays true to the values of the underground and doesn’t take part in the marketing and fashion hypes of today. Its doesn’t matter who he is, how he looks, what he is wearing… but all is about the music he loves and wants to share with his fans on the dancefloor!
