Man’s Mane is an Antwerp stationed rock band and was formed a couple of years before their singer Geert joined the band at the end of 2015. Though they had played together in a number of bands switching styles from rockabilly to soft rock it was time to finally go to their core music: ROCK ! We would like to relate to bands such as Queens of the Stone Age, Danko Jones, Foo Fighters to name some of them that are influencing our style. Though if you would ask us we do find it difficult to classify ourselves in a certain subgenre of rock music. Some of the members background tend to lean more to the true rock genre, others to metal music, punk and even a touch of blues or country which tend to echo through in some of the songs.

After a couple of years going through and rewriting some of the old songs we mainly focused on writing new material. We can say we mainly provide crunching drumkicks, instrumental riffs and pumping basslines mixed with some clear but sometimes suprisingly rough vocals.

We were silent for some time because off the well known global pandemic. Eager to pick up were we left we wanted to return after our time of silence with a message and have spent the last year choosing and fine tuning four songs which would represent not only our band, but also our statement. Finally, at the end of 2021 we managed to get into the studio and record our first EP which we would love to present to you all. When life kicks you in the nuts ! When you feel surrounded by idiots who think they know best? Go your own way and Don’t Hold Back !!!
