Major Maeyer was founded on 5th of March 2013... His main interest and goal is to let people enjoy underground music in anyway. From entering a club with nice melodic house sounds until you leave with your teeth biting your lips and your fists in the air on some stomping techhouse/techno music. Anything in between is a job for your imagination! Major Maeyer had his first notice when he aired on national television during the notorious shows of 'My Set Rules', back then Electro/House was peaking and he won his part of the contest with a tight set (which you can listen/see in the video section). From then on, everything went uphill and slowly but promising he got more and better bookings. Decadance, Baroque, Culture Club, Niche Club, EXO Club, In 2014 he had the honors to be selected as the final 4 during the Tomorrowland DJ Contest (Poppunt/Studio Brussel). Thanks to this one i could let my sounds vibe through everyones radio for a short time! It was a lovely experience and won my first round very surprisingly versus someone I look up to. (K!tch) During the finals I had to compete versus a good friend Ravenous! I had prepared a nice set, but props to ravenous for winning the final. No worries, a few weeks after I got selected for the Club Soda festival contest and won it. My first real festival, opening before Arches & Wankelmut, ... From this moment you could say, Major Maeyer, did ring a bell! More bookings like Club Søndag, Petrol, Nacht van de Jeugdbeweging, VICE festival and lots more. Focussing more on underground electronic music, I want to spread more Major vibes!
