Majé

Majé is a 24-year-young Belgian artist. She started writing and producing her own songs at the age of 13. In her music she states being unapologetically herself.

Majé is the third name of singer-songwriter Elvira Lawson. Though born and bred in the heart of West Flanders Roeselare (Belgium). Togolese blood runs through her veins. In Togolese ‘madjé’ means ‘grace’.

At the age of 10, she started playing the piano. Three years later, she wrote her first song ‘Fly Away’ and have continued writing ever since, from ballads to R&B to modern pop songs.

Writing music began as a way to speak her mind, but it quickly became more than that??it became her safe place. A place where she can be authentic, a place where she finds love, a place where she grows and glows in hidden waters. Today she feels ready to come out of the shadows and share the fruits of her passion with you.
