Bio

Lost State is a collaboration project between Ward (La Junta) & Beep, two Belgian guys who met 10 years ago while studying graphic arts, but who lost track of each other until 2013. Reunited through drum and bass, they release dark, deep and soulful drum & bass mixes and with the help of recently added member Lunrsrndr (Luna) they are working on a few upcoming tracks too.

Ward has been a DJ with the La Junta dnb collective since its conception. La Junta is signed to the Belgian Kinetik label and regularly plays at some of the most acclaimed dnb parties in Belgium, sharing line-ups with the likes of Phace, Jade, June Miller, Prolix, Mindscape, L33 and many more. As an experienced DJ and walking repository of dnb knowledge, Ward specialises in precision mixing and spot-on track selection.

Beep is a long-time producer who recently released his first dnb EP on an independent British label, Inception Records. Beep is a dedicated soundsmith who focuses on meticulously crafting and sculpting sounds, samples and mixes.

Luna, hailing from Montreal, is a dnb-obsessed, classically-trained pianist with a passion for composition and arrangement. She met Beep and Ward through an online dnb community and regularly visits the Lost State studio in Gent, Belgium.
