A Bruxelles-based artist and writer/composer/performer, Lo Bailly has developed a distinctive writing style and flow all of his own. His influences are diverse (Mc Solaar, Alt-J and Odezenne) and his music blends genres, subtly combining french chanson, rap, indie pop and rock.

Following his debut EP ‘Parades’ (2021) and his critically acclaimed album ‘Prosaïque’ (2023), as well as gigs in venues and at festivals, and supporting acts (for Girls in Hawaii, Mc Solaar, Dionysos, etc.) and a sold-out show at the Botanique in Brussels, he took the time to experiment and explore new sounds, whilst also experiencing a pivotal moment in his artistic career: a period of self-reflection and a search for meaning in what he does.

At the same time, he began writing songs for others: Emma Bale, Aprile, Zoë Më, … and gave a dozen intimate piano-and-vocals concerts across Belgium in 2025 to test out some new compositions, without any frills. For Lo Bailly is, above all, a storyteller with raw poetry.

September 2026 marked his return with ‘Sifflement’, a new single from an upcoming EP whose artistic vision is firmly rooted in the present day. It explores a journey of self-discovery, the weight of past choices, and the struggle against the world and its excesses. It is about daring to lay oneself bare to get to the heart of one’s quest for meaning and freedom.
