University college professor at day, music lover at night. Formerly touring the world as a classical pianist and flute soloist in an orchestra, I've only recently discovered a deep love for electronic music. With ears full of music and a desire to create, I decided to buy my first DJ controller and started mixing for fun. But what started out as a hobby, soon became a passion that is so overwhelming that I want to share it with the world.

And so was born Leesah Kane. Last name short for Jacana, my personal scout totem and a waterbird that, according to an ancient Bangladesh legend, found a xylophone in a swamp but lost one of its keys... and ever since, spends the rest of its life trying to find that one missing key.

As a DJ, I am a true jacana, always searching for that one perfect track that will make my musical story complete. And whatever story it is, it will always be an emotional journey, from deep and dark underground techno to uplifting, energizing electro. Get ready to get your soul touched...and your legs moving!
