Lawitt is a Belgian techno DJ and producer with a sound that sits at the crossroads of raw 90s energy and hypnotic modern minimalism: driving, percussive, and deeply physical, yet never aggressive. Every set is an evolving sculpture of groove, a living organism that breathes through tension and release.

Drawing inspiration from deejays like DVS1 and Richie Hawtin, Lawitt approaches deejaying as an act of architecture: layering, sculpting, and blending until each element finds its perfect balance. It's the layering of four decks that creates a coherent, pulsating groove that invites people into something they never heard anywhere else before.

Based in Belgium, Lawitt leads a double life: teacher by day, sound sculptor by night. His classroom may be built around rules and discipline, but it’s behind the decks that he truly experiments, searching for what lies between control and chaos.

His LawittCast series offers a deep dive into his world: long-form journeys through the darker, rhythmic edges of techno. For Lawitt, every mix is a statement. Not just of selection, but of intention.

As he continues refining his craft, his focus is gradually turning toward production again. After his musical training at the Conservatory of Ghent, the joy of producing music was not there anymore. Now, he's aiming to translate his hypnotic, groove-driven energy into original works. For Lawitt, techno isn’t just music. It’s a method of communication, a place to lose yourself and find coherence in chaos.
