Kookaburra is a blistering post-punk quintet based in Antwerp, Belgium.

Since their debut album Dry Eyes / White Mice in 2020, recorded at Hightime Studio with Thomas Valkiers, the band has been anything but predictable. Their 2023 EP Spot Me From Outer Space shifts away from their earlier garage sound and dives deeper into darker, more psychedelic territory, hinting at new depths, experimentation, incorporating electronics and oriental rhythms. Always DIY, always raw, Kookaburra is a band that feels as much as they sound.
