Klaas Poppe is een ervaren singer-songwriter uit Gent met een repertoire van liedjes die recht uit het hart komen. Met invloeden zoals Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen en Ray LaMontagne, mag je je verwachten aan een warme stem en onversneden ‘folky’ gitaarspel. Ondertussen heeft Klaas al menig podia afgeschuimd, maar blijft hij open staan voor nieuwe avonturen. Zo kan je hem in meerdere muzikale projecten aan het werk zien en is hij actief betrokken bij enkele muziekjams in het Gentse.

Met 'A Long Way', zijn debuut-EP die op 21 maart 2025 uitkwam, zette Klaas zichzelf stevig op de kaart. Stilzitten deed hij sindsdien niet: hij blijft nieuwe singles uitbrengen. Part Of Me, zijn recentste nummer, is een song over de afstand tussen muzikant en luisteraar.

Ondertussen blijft Klaas verder optreden, solo of samen met enkele geweldige muzikanten (in duo of full band). Check zeker de concertagenda voor de komende optredens.

Klaas Poppe is an experienced singer-songwriter from Ghent with a repertoire of songs that come straight from the heart. With influences such as Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, and Ray LaMontagne, you can expect a warm voice and unadulterated “folky” guitar playing. Klaas has already graced many stages, but he remains open to new musical adventures. You can see him at work in several projects and he is actively involved in a number of music jams in Ghent.

With ‘A Long Way,’ his debut EP released on March 21, 2025, Klaas firmly put himself on the map. He hasn’t slowed down since, continuing to release new singles along the way. Part Of Me, his most recent track, is a song about the distance between te musician and the audience.

In the meantime, Klaas continues to perform, solo or together with some great musicians (in a duo or full band). Be sure to check the concert calendar for upcoming performances.
