Kaptain E-Glow

Started of DJing as a student in local bars late 90s and played some small town gigs. Early 2000s, a professional working career commenced and the active DJing was put in the fridge.

Kept on buying tons of records through the years, playing occasional living room parties and following the scene but really, Kaptain E-Glow just served as a fictional alter ego on Facebook.

May 2016 however, a friend invited the Kaptain to hit the vinyl decks again for his pure vinyl birthday bash. This after several years of well, ... non-action. That night was a joy for the Kaptain and the crowd alike. Soon after a real gig invitation followed, i.e. to close the festival 'Jazz @ the Bib 2016'. The festival got served with a house set laced with Jazz, Soul, Latin and Afrobeat. As always a pure vinyl set. It got the Kaptain up and running again for occasional and selected events.

Recently:

February 2017 Kaptain E-Glow got invited to spins some records at the great Kompass in Ghent at magnificent Rimbu parties. "RIMBU - The Fiercest One Can Encounter", no kidding.
