JVK

JVK begon als een solo project en in de zomer van 2016 trad hij solo op in verschillende asielcentra met een pak nieuwe songs, allen gecomponeerd op de Kelstone. www.kelstone.be

De muziek zijn '3-minutes' popsongs met telkens een hoekje af, misschien in de traditie van Steely Dan? Blanke reggea, rock en jazz zijn nooit ver weg.

Zowel dansbaar als intimistisch, met een vleugje humor en verteerbare ernst, over 'making love', robots en 'The Blue Economy'.

Na de zomer is hij samen met Pascal Oorts van Mintzkov beginnen werken aan een album.

Verschillende songs zijn geïnspireerd door het boek 'The Blue Economy' van Gunter Pauli.

Dit boek geeft verschillende nieuwe methoden om duurzaam te ondernemen.

100 projecten zijn beschreven, één ervan is papier maken van steen, zodat je geen bomen hoeft te kappen.

De hoes van de nieuwe CD van JVK 'The Blue Economy' is waarschijnlijk de eerste die uit Stonepaper is gemaakt.

Nu het album een feit is, is er ook een band:

JVK started as a solo project and in the summer of 2016 he did several gigs in asylum centers all over the country with a load of new songs, all composed on the Kelstone: www.kelstone.be

His music are 3-minute popsongs, each time with a little twist, maybe in the tradition of Steely Dan? White reggea, rock and jazz are never far away.

Dansable, intimistic with some humor and digestable earnest about 'making love', 'robots' and 'The Blue Economy'.

After the summer, together with Pascal Oorts of Mintzkov as a producer they started working on an album.

Several of the songs are inspired by the book 'The Blue Economy' by Gunter Pauli.

In this revolutionary book one can find several ingenious methods for sustainable businesses .

100 projects are described, one of them is how to make paper out of stone so that no trees need to be cut.

The sleeve of the new CD of JVK 'The Blue Economy' is probably the first one ever made out of Stonepaper.

Now that the album is a fact, JVK formed a band:
