Joost Elli (°Leuven, 1971) runs joostelli.be, his sanctuary for blogs and everything related to his own lyrics and music. He is his own boss there. Special projects include the book De collega’s - het dossier, podcasts about that series and with work by journalist Maurice De Wilde and the novella De avond, a parody of De avonden (also as an audiobook).

He publishes The Daily Elli every day, short pieces of savoir-vivre and more. As an actor he played with Musicalcompagnie Mithe, among others. In 2020 he released the song Happy Little Accidents, a tribute to Bob Ross. In 2022 Telkens als je naar ons komt followed with his cousin Dave Elli, and in 2024 they made Lisbeth Yes together, with Jan Vander Kuylen, another cousin, on bass.

Joost has worked as a psychiatric nurse at Zorggroep Sint-Kamillus in Bierbeek for over thirty years and is the father of two daughters.
