In Haste from Ghent started out in 2016 as a 3-piece hardcore/punk band. Founding members Nick (guitar & vocals), Dimi (bass & vocals) and Mat (drums) released their debut EP “Reclaim the Sane” in the summer of that year, containing 5 tracks.

The style could be described as a mix of fast punk riffs, melodic twists and pissed-off vocals.

In 2020 Sibrand (guitar) joined the band to complete the current line-up. During the winter of 2020 the band’s second EP “Human” was recorded, which will be released in 2021.

This latest EP shows a significant change in overall sound as aspects from music genres such as thrash, sludge, atmospheric metal and mathcore were incorporated.
