Impact Mat is een Belgische DJ en producer die melodie, energie en emotie moeiteloos samenbrengt in zijn producties. Zijn tracks weten telkens een dansbare drive te combineren met een emotionele laag die bij het publiek blijft nazinderen.

Zijn muzikale verhaal begon al toen hij acht was, met een trompet in de hand. Vanuit die klassieke basis groeide hij richting elektronische muziek en ontwikkelde hij een stijl die herkenbaar en meeslepend klinkt.

In 2022 was hij de enige Belgische finalist in de internationale NRJ DJ/Producer Talent Contest, waar hij indruk maakte op juryleden als DJ Licious en Miguel Wiels. Zijn single Hugs and Fights kreeg airplay op NRJ Radio en werd opgepikt door de Belgische pers. Sindsdien volgen de releases elkaar op, via labels als Sirup Music, Blanco y Negro Music en Dreamers Island (Universal Music Publishing). Zijn werk kreeg ondertussen steun van grote namen zoals Sam Feldt (Spinnin’ Records), Suyano (Revealed Recordings) en Joshua Woods (Universal Music Group).

Ook live heeft Impact Mat zijn plek weten te veroveren. Hij stond al op Brussel Brost (Paleis 12), de Antwerp Night Marathon (Grote Markt Antwerpen), Student Welcome Kortrijk, Perkpop, en internationaal tijdens een residency in Kong Bar (Kaapstad) en in Shine Club (Krakau). Daarnaast schopte hij het tot finalist in contests van Palmfuif, Strombeach, Balaton Sound en Area77.

Zijn meest recente release Drink You In (Ensis Records, Warner Music) bevestigt nog maar eens zijn veelzijdigheid: een energieke 140 BPM track die emotie combineert met dansvloerimpact, en die meteen opgepikt werd in playlists van Spinnin’ Records en Protocol Radio by Nicky Romero.

Impact Mat wil met zijn muziek méér doen dan alleen beats laten knallen. Hij vertelt verhalen, brengt mensen samen, en laat een emotionele echo achter die blijft nazinderen; lang nadat het laatste nummer gespeeld is.

Hailing from Belgium, Mateusz Blommaert, better known as Impact Mat is an up and coming Artist with a penchant for writing infectious tunes and relatable narratives. Inspired by internationally acclaimed Artists like Armin van Buuren and Martin Garrix, Impact Mat’s music journey began at the tender age of 8 where he started learning trumpet. After taking a keen interest in electronic music, Impact Mat started spinning in local clubs and soon took up producing as well. Being an avid storyteller, Impact Mat is greatly influenced by real life, drawing inspiration for his music from personal experiences, allowing him to invoke strong emotions in people. The artist also seems to have a unique innate competency to ingeniously present music in multiple styles, including his signature trumpet sound within his productions, all while maintaining a consistent brand, one of the factors that make this artist one to keep an eye out for. With big dreams and plenty of energy to spare, Impact Mat seeks to positively influence society with his music, and is well on his way to becoming one of the most phenomenal artists in our generation.
