Ignite discovered several electronic music scenes in both Belgium and Holland at an early age. Over the years she met a handful of creative dj’s and producers that inspired her to pave her own way. When asked, two names are worth mentioning: Dj K-os (R.I.P.) and Dj Diathroda (R.I.P), both of which fuelled her passion for music, in the short time they spent with us. Having always been a music addict, she decided to use this passion to inspire others and pay homage to those artists that moved her in turn. Ignite first took to the decks in 2008 and started spinning Breakcore, Hardcore and IDM.

In the winter of 2008 she met Dj Syncope. Inspired by his musical style and mixing skills, Ignite got hooked on acid music. But having her roots in the Breakcore/Hardcore scene, she quickly moved to a harder style of acid, namely Acidcore. Because Ignite didn’t want to stick to one style, she often combines both new and oldskool acidcore with other underground styles, such as: acidtekno, 90’s rave and hardcore, oldschool gabber, idm, jungle … Resulting in the development of herown, unique mixing style.

In 2011 she became resident DJ for the legendary Acid Soundz parties and in the beginning of 2012 she joined forces with Narcosis, a Ghent based organization well known for their X-live parties and record label. Ignite is also a resident DJ for Cyclone Records, a suburban concept store located in Ledeberg (Ghent).

During this time she has played at various cutting-edge conceptual events such as Retro Acid, Acid Soundz, The Acid Test, Acid Call, Foorcore XL, Humans at Night, Escape to Acid, Tribes Gathering, and many more.It’s also worth mentioning that she’s Dj’d at Day of the Droids in Barcelona twice ( in 2010 and 2013 ).
