HOMEMADE HAND GRENADE is a 4-headed, Belgian based rock band who draw their influences from all kinds of nostalgic sounds to the modern day rock scene. After a period of writing sessions, they are ready to start sharing their music with the outside world, with COUCHSURFING as their debut single.

"COUCHSURFING" is an upbeat and catchy garage rock/punk song that combines energetic guitar riffs with powerful vocals and driving percussion. Lyrically, the band explore the struggles with insecurities about where to go in life, and using partying and nightlife as a coping mechanism. The song depicts this impulsive behaviour, and the regret that can arise afterwards.

HOMEMADE HAND GRENADE was formed in 2019 by four friends who impulsively joined forces for a first show with less than a week of practice. What started as a one-off last-minute idea, grew into a close group with a shared love for old school music and hard hitting riffs. Their music draws inspiration from a wide range of genres, including classic rock, punk, metal and many more. Their philosophy is to entertain both themselves as their crowd with the songs they make, resulting in songs that range from funny and not too serious, to emotional songs that depict the struggles the band members face.
