Hezekiah started in late 2011, as a nameless band. Brecht and Jani had the idea of starting a band after having jammed together on a casual basis. This went well, so the idea of a band was put forward. Pieter (guitar) and Lorenzo (bass) joined shortly after. However, Lorenzo left the band after two months for a lack of time. Peter was brought in to replace Lorenzo and this has been the line-up ever since.

In May 2012 Hezekiah played their first show, performing three songs. At this moment, there was still no bandname, so they performed as "A Bandless Name". After this it was decided to record a demo. Individual attempts to record this failed because of technical reasons and it was decided to go looking for a studio. In April 2013, still having no name, Hezekiah entered the studio to record three songs. This is now the first nameless EP. With the recording of the songs, the name Hezekiah was chosen definitifly. At the moment, Hezekiah is writting new material and using the EP to acquire gigs.
