As a listener, one is taken on helahoop´s journey through the insuffuciencies ofearthly folk and atmospheric Triphop. With their personal style of playful intuition and folkloric melancholia, helahoop generates a trancendent soundscape.

The transformation of voice, but also the purity in mono- and polyphony are important components in helahoop´s sounds. Themes like reduction, trash, repetition and imperfect beats are to be found determinant as helahoop´s „raison d´etre“.

In a live performance, a whole lot of vocals are accompanied by minimalistical electronics, synthesizers, absurd lyrics and jazzy improvisation in a poppy context. helahoop sounds experimental, electronic, calming, intellectual, different.
