Belgium based Halflight emerged from the ashes of Afterseed and is a side-project of electrowave band The Frozen Park. Halflight stands for dark and sombre neo-classical soundscapes that create a moody atmoshpere symbolizing the harsh condition of our planet. The word 'halflight' comes from the nautic world, meaning a beam of light cast by a lighthouse in order to keep the ships safe at sea in dark and misty weather. Even though Halflight doesn't create the happiest kind of music, it's still a ray of hope to cling to in times of darkness, misery, hate, racism, mistrust, betrayal and anger. Halflight never uses spoken or sung words. Let the music speak for itself.
