Grondstof, formerly known as Mining Dust, is a three-piece band from Antwerp. Some say they're a tad dramatic, others can't seem to agree whether they're too chaotic or too quiet. To be honest, they don't really know themselves.

They do know they are jealous of Radiohead's ingenuity, moved by Low's beauty, and both scared and fascinated by Jason Molina's darkness. In the end, they often just make a lot of noise. Whether it's distorted guitars or cranked up synths: everything goes.
