Grinderhouse is the solo project of Antwerp based producer and multi-instrumentalist David Hermans. As the co-founder and long-term band member of folk/rock band New Rising Sun, he chose the alter ego Grinderhouse to house his solo creations. Notably influenced by artists such as Damien Jurado, Sparklehorse and Sufjan Stevens, he aspires to an atmospheric sound, heavy in texture yet soothing and melancholically profound.
