2018 has been an interesting year so far for the established Belgian punk rock band Generation 84. Major feat this summer was the band supporting Silverstein at Dynamo in Eindhoven and playing the Jera On Air festival a week later. These shows came about after the release of their new album ‘Relentless’, a fast paced 10-song album reminiscent of good old nineties punk rock in the vein of AFI, Good Riddance and Rise Against, a style the band is known for since its inception in 2010. The album was released by Thanks But No Thanks and Indelirium Records, but also by Morning Wood Records, a token of the band’s increased popularity in the Netherlands.

Generation 84’s three other releases have all been met with positive reviews and have earned the band the reputation of a quality punk rock band, resulting in support acts for many greats in the genre like Bad Religion, NOFX (both at Melkweg in Amsterdam), Mad Caddies, Ten Foot Pole, No Fun At All, Strung Out, Against Me and so on. In other words, the band thrives on big occasions, so don’t hesitate to get them to play yours!
