Hi! Nice to meet you! We are "Fuoco"...

Fuoco means something cool, rad, amazing or a synonym of the slang word "Lit". And that is where our focus is mainly on. We care about the "Fuoco" vibes we send out to our crowd and fans. Fuoco is an Italian word coming from 2/5 of the band's Italian roots.

Lead-guitarist Irena, pianist Justine and drummer Martijn all met at a small festival in Hasselt and quickly grew closer and started Fuoco. Along the way, came bassist Martin and guitarist Jef. With a wide intrest in music and many different influences such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Mac Demarco (and many other artists from yesterday's and today's pop-culture), Fuoco is located near Leuven but the band members come from here, there and everywhere and is a perfect trilingual band. Hence why they aren't afraid of a little car ride to get to each other or to a gig.

The easiest way to describe the sound of the band:

A variation between Rock & Roll, Indie music and some bedroom jams drenched into a bucket of reverb, chorus or distortion.
