FATAL TURN is a progressive rock/metal project.

Guillaume Van Rijckeghem is the guitarist and a founding member of Fatal Turn. Together with drummer Michael Stevens, he attended the 'MuDa' school of arts, where the nucleus of Fatal Turn was formed in 2012, not quite sure, however, of how the project would evolve. In addition to being Fatal Turn's producer, multi-instrumentalist and main songwriter; he also plays lead guitar in the metal band 'Scutigera' and occasionally performs acoustic pop and jazz covers with 'The Copy Machines'.

Together with astonishingly talented drummer Michael Stevens, the name 'Fatal Turn' was invented. They both have a passion for progressive rock and metal acts such as Dream Theater, Symphony X, Porcupine Tree, Tesseract, Tool, Haken and many others. Michael focuses on making creative drum covers, which you can view on his YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/Deathstarke).

The very first upcoming demo material was written and recorded at Guillaume's home studio. The whole production process of this demo was actually a graduation project for Guillaume's school (his 'GIP' at MuDa). After the 'GIP' in march, the demo recordings were made available on the internet. You can download and stream these demo recordings via Bandcamp, Soundcloud, YouTube etc. Be sure to listen to it, and let us know what you think about it.

At this moment, after this first demo release, we're starting to make the demo's into 'real' songs. The songs will probably be re-recorded, with Michael Stevens on acoustic drums. So far, it's quite uncertain what will happen with Fatal Turn, but we'll try our best to create progressive music that we like to play, and you love to listen to!
