Evacuation Plan is an eclectic band that was founded in 2016 by Taejung Kim, a guitarist from Korea. Together with Robin Rebetez, a tenor and soprano saxophonist from Belgium, Wolf van Gemert, a bassist from the Netherlands, and John Wolter, a drummer from Luxembourg, they form a dynamic musical ensemble.

In 2018, Evacuation Plan released their debut album, titled "Difference between Consciousness and Justification." This album showcases Taejung Kim's musical compositions, which draw inspiration from a wide range of genres, including modern jazz, reggae, Latin, punk, rock, and various other musical styles. The diverse influences meld together to create a unique and captivating musical experience.

The album serves as a testament to the band's versatility and ability to incorporate different musical elements into their compositions. With each track, Evacuation Plan takes listeners on a journey through a rich tapestry of sounds, demonstrating their artistic vision and their passion for exploring the boundaries of music.

Their dedication and talent were recognized when they were awarded the "Jazz Maastricht Awards 2018" in the Professional category, as well as the Audience Prize. These accolades served as a testament to their musical prowess and the connection they established with their listeners.
