After multiple unsuccessful tries at putting the right people together to form a band, Lars decided to start a new solo project and put all his efforts on it. This marked the beginning of Ethereal Darkness, an atmospheric Melodic Death Metal band with Doom and Black metal influences.

After almost a year of trial and error, suffering and joy, Smoke And Shadows, the debut album, was released on Feb, 20th 2019. Soon, Lars would start scouting the surroundings to see if worthy people could be found to help him take the project into a live setting.

Fast forward a few months and a full line up has been assembled, currently preparing all the songs to be able to show to the world that there's always hope in darkness... if your inner demons don't devour you first.
