Down to Adelaide is a five-piece alternative rock band from Genk, Belgium.

Strong female vocals, touching melodies, solid rythms and tight beats are the foundation of their varying sound, which has clear roots in modern punkrock and post-hardcore music.

What started as a young pop punk band in the Summer of 2012, soon lead to their first EP ‘Right in all the wrong ways’. Numerous gigs in Belgium and the Netherlands followed in 2012 and 2013 with international bands like A Loss for Words, Heideroosjes and As Enemies Arise.

With new band members and musical exploration, they found themselves setting a new direction for Down to Adelaide. Fall 2014, they showed a more mature and varying sound on their second EP ’T Minus Zero’, which was released November 2014.

Unfortunately, Down to Adelaide decided to part ways October 2015.

"So, bad news guys… It kind of hurts to say this, but Down to Adelaide decided to part ways. We were trying to find our new direction as a band, but unfortunately, things didn’t seem to fall in place. We had a lot of fun the last few years, but now it’s time for our band members to pursue their new goals in other projects. We’re still friends though, don’t worry!
