DJ MackG,

real name Maverick Grolet, born February 6, 2001 in Roccourt, is a great music enthusiast. Economics student at the Athénée Royal d'Aywaille. Dreaming of mixing in the biggest festivals, it was at the age of 16, and listening to his dad, that Maverick decided to buy his first pioneer console and started in djing. A few months later, he is finally ready and has started to perform in a village café (the Crooner) where many young people meet on Friday afternoons.

It was with his dad (Yves Grolet, resident dj at the Crooner) and a known dj from the Liège region (Anthony Spallino, resident at the crooner, Warm Fm,...) who took him under his wing that Mack G met the world of the night, starting with the “Anthology” concept dedicated to electronic music. And yes, from an early age, he was rocked musically by listening to his dad's many sets.
