De Federatie is the new project from Sam & Bas, two brothers from Antwerp who’ve been DJing and producing together for over 15 years.

Shaped by the energy of Soulwax, the swing of French Touch, and the grit of early electro, their sound reflects years of crate-digging and dancefloor experience. They’ve played everywhere from WAV Radio and La Madeleine to De Studio, Plein Publiek and underground nights like Disco Dopafou.

In 2024, they launched De Federatie — a name that resonates across languages, just like the music they aim to create: borderless, bold and built for the club. Their sets and releases revolve around carefully chosen themes, each inspired by fragments of their ideal nightclub. Think New Beat, NYC queer club culture, analog synths and late-night body music.

Their approach is slow-burn and intentional: a journey that starts deep and hypnotic, gradually intensifying into full dancefloor release. Every sound, every visual, every track is crafted in-house — no gimmicks, no gloss, just raw energy and rhythm.
