Bio

The indie electro band named after singer and bandleader Charlotte Haesen has been active since 2012. They just released their first EP “daylight”. The crystalline voice and subtle compositions facing the impressive synths, bass sounds and armored rhythms blend together in a unique way.

Charlotte was born in Amsterdam in 1987 and grew up in Belgium with a French-African mother and a Dutch father, both artists. The bilingual environment and the contrasting realities she was surrounded with made her see the world from different perspectives. In 2011, she produces her first album “salomé”, which was warmly received by critics and fans. The press and TV called her the revelation of several festivals in Belgium, Holland and Germany. Since then the bookings are increasing.

In 2012, she found a band with the Luxembourgish musicians: Jerome Klein (keys, synths), Aloyse Weyler (drums) and Pol Belardi (e-bass, synths). Together they release “Daylight” in 2013.
