Bio

Worked with renowned Latin American film composer Osvaldo Montez and singer Andy Montañez.

Played with the famous Cuban band Los Guayabero, performing traditional Cuban and Latin American music, and performed with singer Faustino Orama.

Performed with singer Eliades Ochoas, playing traditional Cuban music.

Worked with the bands Klimax and Giraldo Piloto, performing Cuban popular music and Latin jazz.

Worked with renowned Cuban saxophonist César López and his Habana Ensemble. Participated in recordings by musicians such as Julito Padrón, Rolando Lunas, Rodny Barreto, Gastón Joya, and bands like Rumberos De Cuba.

He has participated in concerts with jazz pianist Ramón Valle.

He received second place at the JoJazz Young Jazz Musicians Festival in 2012.

In 2012, he founded the Jazz Park project. The band fuses Cuban rhythms and genres with jazz, giving it a unique and distinctive sound. The project aims to bring Latin jazz and various jazz genres to the world and to new generations. He has worked with musicians and bands such as Elka Band, Maksim, Aleksey Chumakov, Alina Engibaryan, Azat Gaifullin, Under Influence, Oleg Butman, Marsell, Dimash Kydaibergen, Fidel Alejandro Band, and others, gaining experience playing for small audiences as well as in stadiums with up to 40,000 people.

He worked on the famous late-night program Vecherniy Urgant, which was broadcast daily to a multimillion-strong audience on the main television channel, together with the Frukty Band. He participated in the Jazz Plaza festival (Havana, Cuba) in 2014, 2015, 2016 and in the Festival De La Salsa (Havana, Cuba) with the Klimax Orchestra in 2015 and 2016.In 2018, Carlos moved to Russia, where he continued working on his Jazz Park project and collaborating with several renowned projects across various genres.

He worked with musicians and bands such as Elka Band, Maksim, Aleksey Chumakov, Alina Engibaryan, Azat Gaifullin, Under Influence, Oleg Butman, Marsell, Dimash Kydaibergen, Fidel Alejandro Band, and others, gaining experience playing for small audiences as well as in stadiums with up to 40,000 people.

He also worked on the popular late-night show Vecherniy Urgant, which aired daily to a massive audience on the main television channel, alongside the Frukty Band.

With various jazz bands, he has performed at festivals such as Jazz Seasons in 2019, Rainy Days in 2020 and 2022, the Moscow Jazz Festival, and Ural Music Night in 2022.

With his band Jazz Park, he has participated in competitions and festivals such as Usadba Jazz Sochi in 2019, Jazz Seasons in 2020, and Ever Jazz in 2022.

He has a permanent residency at Moscow's largest jazz club, Kozlov Club, where he has performed monthly since 2019.
