Bio
Mobilhome is a jazz quintet based in Brussels formed around pianist Camille-Alban Spreng. Following the over kitch statement: "music is where your home is", they lead the listener on a stony countryside path, full of dangerous turns and smoggy landscapes. This is avant- garde jazz music for nostalgic pop-rock boomers, or birdsongs lovers. Beside Camille-Alban Spreng, the band features Sam Comerford on tenor saxophone who plays the role of the lead singer here; Vitja Pauwels on guitar, mostly noise; Lennart Heyndels on bass and Théo Lanau on drums.
With the energy of a rock band and Spreng's subtle writing, the music reaches a large audience, from the improvised music aficionado to fans of wild riffs. This is the challenging path that the band follows: to present a rich musical world, equally loved by the cognoscenti and the untrained listeners.
