Equally inspired by the riffs and songwriting chops of CCR and Balthazar as they the liquid atmospheres of Oscar & The Wolf and Caspian, Camelia carves a unique sound that sounds equally familiar and foreign. Fronted by the fiery voiced Frie Pardon, the band effortlessly blends a tight, funky Weather Report-esque rhythm section with quirky alt-indie frenetic energy, and somehow it all just sounds right together.
