Bun is the alter ego of Brecht Vanvyaene, guitarist of the Belgian instrumental post-metal band Miava. The band was becoming a force to be reckoned with, but sadly their drummer Jelle lost his life in a car accident. In a split second, Brecht lost his best friend and musical soulmate.

After a lot of soul searching, Brecht regained joy in life and music. He started Bun, a new project that celebrates life. His music is best described as a mix of nineties Britpop and alternative rock.

Bun released his debut album Eases My Mind in 2022 which is available on vinyl and cd. Willy, Studio Brussel, Radio 2, Classic 21 and many other stations added his songs to their playlists. Seven of his singles got playlisted in Spotify's New Music Friday BE. Burnout reached three Spotify editorial playlists, only one week after its release!

After a short musical break, Bun is making his comeback fueled by renewed energy, but with the same recognisable sound. Ready to rock more than ever before!
