Bun is the alter ego of Brecht Vanvyaene, guitarist for Belgian instrumental post-metal band Miava. The band was becoming a force to be reckoned with, but sadly their drummer Jelle lost his life in a car accident. In a split second, Brecht lost his best friend and musical soulmate.

After a lot of soul searching, Brecht regained joy in life and music. He started Bun, a new project that celebrates life. His music is best described as a mix of nineties Britpop and alternative rock.

Bun has already built up a solid reputation. He released 11 singles over a period of 2 years which gained him fans from all over the world. His music gets a lot of positive reviews as well as airplay on (national) radio stations from around the world.

Willy, Studio Brussel, Radio 2, Classic 21 and many other stations put his songs in their playlists. Seven of his singles got playlisted in Spotify's New Music Friday BE. Burnout, reached three Spotify editorial playlists, only one week after its release!

Bun has just released debut album Eases My Mind which is available on vinyl and cd.
